 Return Policy for Iron Sand Malibu Knives

 

Conditions for a Valid Return

• Condition of the Knife: Returned items must be in new, unused, and undamaged condition, and must be returned with all original packaging and accessories. A 50$ restocking fee will be charged to anyone requesting a refund for a knife in this condition.

• Proof of Purchase: A copy of your order confirmation or packing slip is required for all returns.

• Returns for Misuse: We reserve the right to deny any return where the knife shows signs of use that are inconsistent with its intended purpose.

Intended Use & Disclaimer

Our knives are designed and handcrafted to be the finest possible tools for preparing food. They are exceptionally sharp and precise, and must be handled with the utmost care.

Iron Sand Malibu knives are intended for cutting food only. The use of our knives for any unintended purpose, such as prying, screwing, chopping bone, or cutting on hard surfaces like stone or glass, is considered misuse. Misuse can cause damage to the blade and create a safety risk for the user. Any damage resulting from such misuse is not considered a defect and is not covered under our return policy or warranty.

We Can fix it

Most damage to knives can be repaired, so regardless of the circumstance under which it was damaged, please send it in and we can likely fix it.

How to Start a Return

To initiate a return, please email us at dane@ironsandmalibu.com with your order number and the reason for your return. We will provide you with instructions and a return shipping address.

Shipping Costs

• The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.

Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, the refund will be processed and a credit will be applied to your original payment method within [e.g., 5-10] business days.
